Quantitative Meets Qualitative
Tracking web analytics, such as time on a web page and conversion rates, provides organizations with vital information for building and maintaining successful websites. However, this quantitative data often leaves out an important part of the story—the why. Why did 33% of your users abandon your web form? Do people not want to share their personal information with you? Is the form too long? Or is it, gasp, broken?
In this session, usability expert Brandon Harris will share how you can successfully track and leverage both quantitative and qualitative data to make informed decisions about your website. Learn how to create dialogue with your constituents in order to be pro-active in providing them with an excellent user experience. Discover concrete examples for improving your website with the data and information you collect.
Speaker: Brandon Harris, Usability Extraordinaire; Director of User Experience, Pentagon Federal Credit Union

Take a few minutes to have a snack, chat with other industry professionals, or check your work email. On second thought, don't check your email, stick with snacking.

A Website for Everyone
Your websites contain a wealth of content, information, and resources for your constituents. But is it accessible to all? Are your visually impaired web visitors able to read your blog? Can those with motor skill challenges register for your conference? You may unknowingly be holding back the very people in the industry you serve.
Accessibility expert Nina Amato will teach you how to test your website to see if it is accessible to all and help you understand how those with disabilities experience your site. She’ll give you tools and resources for making your site accessible to all constituents.

Wine Tasting with Frank Klassen
If there are two things our CEO Frank Klassen knows it’s websites and wine. He’s volunteered (ok, ok, we volunteered him) to share his vino knowledge. He’ll introduce you to excellent reds and whites.
Enjoy getting to know fellow participants, chatting with Brightfinders, and putting the wine terminology you learned in Frank's class to use. Of course there will be more wine and snacks!
